Brian Kisida participated in the American Academy of Arts & Sciences’ Congressional Briefing on the value of arts education. The briefing discussed the Academy’s Commission on the Arts’ report, Art for Life’s Sake, and included the Commission’s cochairs, actor John Lithgow, Kennedy Center president Deborah Rutter, and former poet-laureate Natasha Trethewey. They were joined by Reps. Suzanne Bonamici (D-Oregon) and Chellie Pingree (D-Maine).
